Coal Mountain Kennel is located in Cumming, Georgia, just North of Atlanta. With a new coat of paint, six additional stalls, and the process of having professional "runs" built, we are constantly working on improvements and better quality of puppies. Coal Mountain Kennel has made some changes this year. It has been a trying one, but we have made it another year. We have made great strides in bringing the in the highest quality of puppies, with new litters all of the time. We also made a change by joining hands with "Hidden Oaks Kennel". Hidden Oaks is also located in Cumming, Georgia and specializes in miniature long hair puppies. We both have the same standard of care and birthing and all are registered with the American Kennel Club. We have a new stud, Quint, (we call him Schultze) who also comes from Germany. He is introduced on the "Sire" page. We will be bringing in two more, and that will complete the kennel for a while. We raise our dachshunds with special love and care and sell only to families and kennels who have the desire, love and attention that a dachshund requires. All puppies are birthed inside and stay there until they are six weeks old. This is to ensure that they are eating and drinking correctly before we place them in our kennel. Our kennel takes pride in the fact that our dachshunds are great quality, and bred only to have great dispositions, loving hearts, and all of the requirements of the American Kennel Club. This Kennel is registered with the State of Georgia and the American Kennel Club. Our official AKC Kennel name is "Wabbit's" Kennel. This is my husband's nick name. We carry on average eight to ten dachshunds, so that each one can be loved, groomed, and cared for on an individual basis. We have been raising miniature dachshunds for eighteen years.
